PREPARING FOR THE LORD’S DAY | As you anticipate our worship gathering on the Lord’s Day, consider praying for our service, reading the text for the sermon, and preparing your heart and mind for worship with the Body of Christ. On Sunday, we’ll be singing Magnificent Marvelous Matchless Love, And Can It Be, and Be Thou My Vision. This week we are continuing in our expositional series through the gospel of Luke with a message centered on Luke 12:1-34, and we’ll respond to the preached word by partaking in the Lord’s Supper together.
JOIN THE MUSIC TEAM | The musicians and AV techs leading us in musical worship are a great group, but they’re praying for a few more talented people. If God is calling you to lead our faith-family to worship the Lord through music or AV work, please contact Pastor Alex.
MONTHLY MEN’S BREAKFAST | On the second Saturday of every month at 8 AM, the Men of Redeeming Life gather at Penny Ann’s restaurant (234 S 500 W Suite 101, West Bountiful, UT 84010) for breakfast and fellowship. Each guy covers the cost of his own breakfast.
Please RSVP and let your yes be yes or no be no for the sake of the count and working well with the restaurant. This is also a mission opportunity so be kind to your server and tip really well. Then they'll be happy to have our church guys back.
ONLINE GIVING | If you would like to worship through faithful giving and give online, log into your Realm account and select the giving tab. If you’re not a Realm user, you may visit https://onrealm.org/rlc/give/now. We appreciate your faithful giving, and we hope you might consider setting up a reoccurring giving schedule.
FAMILY MEETING | Our next family meeting is right after our morning worship service on October 11th. We will be presenting new members, sharing those who are no longer in membership, and announcing some dates for budget conversations prior to the November family meeting and vote on the budget.
NEW MEMBERS CLASS | Are you interested in becoming a member of Redeeming Life Church? Our New Members Class is a great opportunity to hear about the history of our church, learn about our beliefs & leadership structure, and ask questions in a small group setting. Our next class for those interested in membership is Monday October 12th at 6:30pm
SENIOR LUNCHEON | The next Senior Luncheon is scheduled for Tuesday, October 13th, at 11:30am in the Fellowship Hall. Grab a friend and join us for a time of fellowship and fun. Please RSVP on Realm or sign up in the lobby so we have an accurate count for lunch. See you there.
STATE MISSIONS OFFERING | If you would like to make a donation to support the work of missions and church planting through the Utah-Idaho Southern Baptist Convention, you may write your check to Redeeming Life Church and include “State Missions” in the memo line or on your giving envelope. If you’d like to make a tax-deductible donation on Realm, select the “Special Offerings” drop-down choice. Or you may text "RLC SBC to 73256 for a giving form you can use from your phone. You will promptly receive a response with instructions and a secure link to follow. Together, we can make a difference as we partner in praying, giving, and sharing as we seek to expand God’s kingdom right here at home!
NEED PRAYER? | Do you have a prayer request and would like our pastoral staff to pray for you? You may email your prayer requests to Prayer@RedeemingLifeUtah.org or text (385) 368-6665.
