PREPARING FOR THE LORD’S DAY | As you anticipate our worship gathering on the Lord’s Day, consider praying for our service, reading the text for the sermon, and preparing your heart and mind for worship with the Body of Christ. On Sunday, we’ll be singing How Great Thou Art, Hallelujah What A Savior, and This Is Our God. This week we are continuing our series through the book of Titus as Pastor Alex delivers a message centered on Titus 2:1-10 and we will respond to the preached word by partaking in the Lord’s Supper together.
DINNER IN THE PARK | Grab a blanket or a lawn chair and join us on Sunday May 3rd at 5:00pm. for an evening of fun and fellowship as we enjoy dinner and games together at Bountiful City Park (400 N 200 W). Each person/family is responsible for their own dinner. Swing through your favorite drive thru or fill up that picnic basket and we’ll see you there.
WE NEED HELP IN THE CHILDREN’S MINISTRY | Here’s a great opportunity to serve and preach the gospel to the next generation of the Church. Please consider volunteering in the Nursery, Pre-K, or Elementary kids’ classes. We also need people to monitor the cameras on an iPad during the service or serve as the Children’s Ministry Assistant. Volunteers serve on a rotation, certainly not every week or as often as you might think. Please contact Pastor Josiah for more info.
SUPPORT A MISSIONARY | This summer we are sending a mission team out to Wisconsin to help one of our partner churches with their Family Bible Week event. If you would like to help sponsor a missionary to go on this trip, you can do so by writing “Mission Support” on your giving envelope or by selecting “Mission Support” from the fund list when giving on-line.
MONTHLY MEN’S BREAKFAST | On the second Saturday of every month at 8 AM, the Men of Redeeming Life gather at Penny Ann’s restaurant (234 S 500 W Suite 101, West Bountiful, UT 84010) for breakfast and fellowship. Each guy covers the cost of his own breakfast.
Please RSVP and let your yes be yes or no be no for the sake of the count and working well with the restaurant. This is also a mission opportunity so be kind to your server and tip really well. Then they'll be happy to have our church guys back.
SENIOR LUNCHEON | The next Senior Luncheon is scheduled for Tuesday, May 12th, at 11:30am in the Fellowship Hall. Grab a friend and join us for a time of fellowship and fun. Please RSVP on Realm or sign up in the lobby so we have an accurate count for lunch. See you there.
