PREPARING FOR THE LORD’S DAY | As you anticipate our worship gathering on the Lord’s Day, consider praying for our service, reading the text for the sermon, and preparing your heart and mind for worship with the Body of Christ. On Sunday, we’ll be singing Come People of the Risen King, Christus Victor, And Can It Be, and The Sands of Time Are Sinking. This week we are continuing in our expositional series through the gospel of Luke with a message centered on Luke 12:35-53, and we’ll respond to the preached word by partaking in the Lord’s Supper together.
FAMILY MEETING | Our next family meeting is right after our morning worship service on October 11th. We will be presenting new members, sharing those who are no longer in membership, and announcing some dates for budget conversations prior to the November family meeting and vote on the budget.
JOIN THE MUSIC TEAM | The musicians and AV techs leading us in musical worship are a great group, but they’re praying for a few more talented people. If God is calling you to lead our faith-family to worship the Lord through music or AV work, please contact Pastor Alex.

NEW MEMBERS CLASS | Are you interested in becoming a member of Redeeming Life Church? Our New Members Class is a great opportunity to hear about the history of our church, learn about our beliefs & leadership structure, and ask questions in a small group setting. Our next class for those interested in membership is Monday October 12th at 6:30pm
SENIOR LUNCHEON | The next Senior Luncheon is scheduled for Tuesday, October 13th, at 11:30am in the Fellowship Hall. Grab a friend and join us for a time of fellowship and fun. Please RSVP on Realm or sign up in the lobby so we have an accurate count for lunch. See you there.
HOSPITALITY HELP | We need some people willing to come early each Sunday to help make coffee and refreshments, as well as do some light housekeeping. If you’re interested and feel that God might be calling you to serve our faith-family, please contact Pastor Josiah.
CHILI COOK OFF! | Things are about to get CHILI at Redeeming Life! Join us for our 4th Annual Chili Cook-Off on Sunday, October 25th, at 4:30 PM! Think your chili has what it takes to claim the title of Redeeming Life Chili Champion? Well, it's time to put your crockpot where your mouth is! Whether your chili is mild and merciful or hot enough to make you cry out for grace, we want you in the competition! Not much of a cook? No problem! We need plenty of hungry people to taste-test the competition, cast their votes, and help us crown this year's champion. Come hungry, bring your critic’s taste buds, and enjoy an evening of delicious food, friendly competition, and great fellowship! Want to enter your chili, bring a side dish, or volunteer to help?
