Announcement of Ministries | 02.01
PREPARING FOR THE LORD’S DAY | As you anticipate our worship gathering on the Lord’s Day, consider praying for our service, reading the text for the sermon, and preparing your heart and mind for worship with the Body of Christ. On Sunday, we’ll be singing O Church Arise, There Is One Gospel, My Heart Is Filled, and Before The Throne of God Above. This week we are continuing our series in Luke’s Gospel as Pastor Josiah shares a message centered on Luke 5:1-32. We will also respond to the preached word by partaking in the Lord’s Supper together.
JANITORIAL HELP NEEDED | We are looking for some volunteers who would be willing to come in during the week to help clean around the building. This work involves tasks such as, vacuuming, emptying garbage cans, cleaning restrooms, sanitizing children’s toys, and so forth. If you’re interested in blessing our faith family in this way and feel that God might be calling you to serve in this role, please contact Pastor Josiah.
MONTHLY MEN’S BREAKFAST | On the first Saturday of every month at 8 AM, the Men of Redeeming Life are gathering at Penny Ann’s restaurant (234 S 500 W Suite 101, West Bountiful, UT 84010) for breakfast and fellowship. Each guy covers the cost of his own breakfast.
Please RSVP and let your yes be yes or no be no for the sake of the count and working well with the restaurant. This is also a mission opportunity so be kind to your server and tip really well. Then they'll be happy to have our church guys back.
SERMON PODCAST & LIVE STREAM | In the event that you miss a Sunday sermon because you are serving, feeling sick, or are otherwise unable to be with us for the service all-together, you can always find the live-stream, full-service videos, sermon videos, and audio recordings on our website at www.RedeemingLifeUtah.org. We also live-stream on YouTube at 11 AM.
FAMILY MEETING | Our next family meeting is right after our morning worship service on February 8th. Our elders will be sharing an update on ministries in the church, a short financial report, information regarding upcoming mission trip opportunities, and some ways that we can be praying and seeking the Lord this year.
SENIOR LUNCHEON | The next Senior Luncheon is scheduled for Monday, February 9th, at 11:30am in the Fellowship Hall. Grab a friend and join us for a time of fellowship and fun. Please RSVP on Realm or sign up in the lobby so we have an accurate count for lunch. See you there.
BAPTISM | If you would like to follow Jesus in believer’s baptism, please let us know. We’d love to help you faithfully follow Jesus.
MID-WEEK DISCIPLESHIP | For those interested in growing in their faith, we offer Mid-Week Discipleship Classes on Wednesday nights from 6:30pm-8:00pm. Our next season of Mid-Week Discipleship starts back up on Wednesday February 11th. These classes cover a wide array of various subjects. There are classes for kids from birth through high school and adult studies as well. More details can be found on Realm, or you can contact one of our pastors with any questions.
