PREPARING FOR THE LORD’S DAY | As you anticipate our worship gathering on the Lord’s Day, consider praying for our service, reading the text for the sermon, and preparing your heart and mind for worship with the Body of Christ. On Sunday, we’ll be singing Sing We The Song of Emmanuel, There Is One Gospel, The King In All His Beauty, and We Will Feast In The House of Zion. This week we are continuing our series in Luke’s Gospel as Pastor Josiah shares a message centered on Luke 4:14-44. We will also respond to the preached word by partaking in the Lord’s Supper together.
HOSPITALITY HELP | We need some people willing to come early each Sunday to help make coffee and refreshments, as well as do some light housekeeping. If you’re interested and feel that God might be calling you to serve our faith-family, please contact Pastor Josiah.
MONTHLY MEN’S BREAKFAST | On the first Saturday of every month at 8 AM, the Men of Redeeming Life are gathering at Penny Ann’s restaurant (234 S 500 W Suite 101, West Bountiful, UT 84010) for breakfast and fellowship. Each guy covers the cost of his own breakfast.
Please RSVP and let your yes be yes or no be no for the sake of the count and working well with the restaurant. This is also a mission opportunity so be kind to your server and tip really well. Then they'll be happy to have our church guys back.
BAPTISM | If you would like to follow Jesus in believer’s baptism, please let us know. We’d love to help you faithfully follow Jesus.
FAMILY MEETING | Our next family meeting is right after our morning worship service on February 8th. Our elders will be sharing an update on ministries in the church, a short financial report, some information regarding upcoming mission trip opportunities, as well as some ways that we can be praying and seeking the Lord this year.
SENIOR LUNCHEON | The next Senior Luncheon is scheduled for Monday, February 9th, at 11:30am in the Fellowship Hall. Grab a friend and join us for a time of fellowship and fun. Please RSVP on Realm or sign up in the lobby so we have an accurate count for lunch. See you there.
TRACING GOD’S STORY | Are you interested in learning more about the Bible? Join Pastor Alex on Wednesday nights starting February 11th for a class on Biblical Theology. In this class, we will walk through God’s redemptive plan from Genesis to Revelation in a way that is clear, meaningful, and practical for our daily lives.
