PREPARING FOR THE LORD’S DAY | As you anticipate our worship gathering on the Lord’s Day, consider praying for our service, reading the text for the sermon, and preparing your heart and mind for worship with the Body of Christ. On Sunday, we’ll be singing O Church Arise, Only A Holy God, O The Deep Deep Love, and Great Is Thy Faithfulness. This week we are starting a new series in the book of Acts called “The Gospel On Trial.” Alex will be preaching a message centered on Acts 21:1-14 and will respond to the preached word by taking part in the Lord’s Supper together.
FAMILY MEETING | Our next family meeting is right after our morning worship service on October 12th. We will be sharing an update on those who are no longer in membership, a brief financial report, and announcing some dates for future budget conversations prior to the November family meeting and vote on the budget.
SECURITY TEAM | Interested in joining the Redeeming Life Security Team? Members of this team serve as parking lot greeters, watch cameras, and welcome those showing up a little late. There are some other tasks that may come up from time to time. If you’re interested, please let Pastor Josiah know.
SENIOR LUNCHEON | The next Senior Luncheon is scheduled for Monday, October 13th, at 11:30am in the Fellowship Hall. Grab a friend and join us for a time of fellowship and fun. Please RSVP on Realm or sign up in the lobby so we have an accurate count for lunch. See you there.
TEXT GIVING | If you would like to worship through faithful giving and use text messaging to do it, send “RLC” to 73256 for a form you can use from your phone. You will promptly receive a response with instructions and a secure link to follow. The system will send you a secure link to complete your transaction and send you a giving receipt. This will also allow your donation to be tracked in our system so we can provide you with tax info in January.
LADIES’ NIGHT OUT | Mark your calendars!!! Our next Ladies Night Out will be on October 16th at 6:30pm. This month, the ladies of RLC will be venturing to the El Matador at 606 S Main St, Bountiful, UT 84010! On the third Thursday of every month, the ladies of Redeeming Life get together at 6:30pm for a delicious meal and a time of fellowship. (every month the location varies.)
