PREPARING FOR THE LORD’S DAY | As you anticipate our worship gathering on the Lord’s Day, consider praying for our service, reading the text for the sermon, and preparing your heart and mind for worship with the Body of Christ. On Sunday, we’ll be singing Christ the True and Better, Let the Nations Be Glad, Before the Throne of God Above, and Oh the Deep Deep Love. This week we are continuing our series through the book of Luke as Pastor Josiah preaches a message centered on Luke 3:1-20 and will respond to the preached word by taking part in the Lord’s Supper together.
WE NEED HELP IN THE CHILDREN’S MINISTRY | Here’s a great opportunity to serve and preach the gospel to the next generation of the Church. Please consider volunteering in the Nursery, Pre-K, or Elementary kids’ classes. We also need people to monitor the cameras on an iPad during the service or serve as the Children’s Ministry Assistant. Volunteers serve on a rotation, certainly not every week or as often as you might think. Please contact Pastor Josiah for more info.
LADIES’ CRAFT NIGHT | Join our ladies’ for a craft night in the Fellowship Hall Thursday, January 8th at 6:30pm. Bring a friend and a snack to share and join other ladies in a collective craft and time of fellowship and fun. All ladies 13 and older are welcome. MEN’S GAME NIGHT | Hey guys! Ready for some friendly competition and good times? Join us for our Men's Game Night at the church building on Friday January 9th at 6:30pm. Whether you're into board games, card games, or just good conversation, this is the place to be. We’ll have plenty of snacks to keep you fueled for the fun, so bring a friend and come hang out. MONTHLY MEN’S BREAKFAST | On Saturday January 10th at 8:00am the Men of Redeeming Life are gathering at Penny Ann’s restaurant (234 S 500 W Suite 101, West Bountiful, UT 84010) for breakfast and fellowship. Each guy covers the cost of his own breakfast.
Please RSVP and let your yes be yes or no be no for the sake of the count and working well with the restaurant. This is also a mission opportunity so be kind to your server and tip really well. Then they'll be happy to have our church guys back.

CSB BIBLE TRANSLATION | While we love many Bible translations at Redeeming Life Church, officially, we preach out of the Christian Standard Bible (CSB) most of the time. It’s not that we think this translation is perfect or the best, but that we settled on a specific translation, so you could bring a Bible and follow along if that’s your preference. We also like both the CSB Study Bible and the ESV Study Bible, although we don’t argue that either are perfect.
