PREPARING FOR THE LORD’S DAY | As you anticipate our worship gathering on the Lord’s Day, consider praying for our service, reading the text for the sermon, and preparing your heart and mind for worship with the Body of Christ. On Sunday, we’ll be singing Joy To The World, Holy, Holy, Holy, (Nicaea), and Oh the Deep, Deep, Love. This week we are concluding our series “The Gospel On Trial,” as Pastor Alex preaches a message centered on Acts 28:11-31 and will respond to the preached word by taking part in the Lord’s Supper together.
FAMILY WORSHIP SERVICE | The fifth Sunday of every month is Family Worship. This means we’ll have a children’s sermon and activities in the sanctuary for the kids but there will not be a separate children’s ministry. The kiddos will have an opportunity to see what it means to sit in the service and learn from the adults. If you are able, consider sitting with a family with young children and helping the parents. This Sunday, November 30th is family worship.
CHRISTMAS BLESSINGS | There’s still time to give to Christmas Blessings. Christmas Blessings is a way for us to give gift cards to families in need this Christmas season. They will use these cards to shop for gifts and food for Christmas. If you’d like to give, please drop gift cards, cash, or checks in the Christmas Blessings box in the lobby. You can also give on-line by selecting “Acts 11” in the dropdown in Realm.
MONTHLY MEN’S BREAKFAST | On the first Saturday of every month at 8 AM, the Men of Redeeming Life are gathering at Penny Ann’s restaurant (234 S 500 W Suite 101, West Bountiful, UT 84010) for breakfast and fellowship. Each guy covers the cost of his own breakfast.
Please RSVP and let your yes be yes or no be no for the sake of the count and working well with the restaurant. This is also a mission opportunity so be kind to your server and tip really well. Then they'll be happy to have our church guys back.
GREETERS NEEDED | We are looking for faithful servants who would like to open doors, assist seniors, direct families to check in, welcome guest, and be a friendly face to welcome our church on Sunday mornings. If you’re interested and feel that God might be calling you to serve our faith-family, please contact Pastor Josiah.
SENIOR LUNCHEON | The next Senior Luncheon is scheduled for Monday, December 8th, at 11:30am in the Fellowship Hall. Grab a friend and join us for a time of fellowship and fun. Please RSVP on Realm or sign up in the lobby so we have an accurate count for lunch. See you there.
SHINE BRIGHT CHRISTMAS LUNCHEON | Ladies - You’re invited to Shine Bright, our annual Christmas Luncheon — a time to pause, refresh, and rejoice together! Mark your calendars and join us on Saturday, December 13th, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM for worship, fellowship, and an encouraging message from God’s word. Come dressed in something festive and invite a friend to share in our joyful celebration. NOTE: This is a ticketed event, and an RSVP is required to attend. Our Christmas Luncheon is open to women of all ages!
